Sporvo ("we", "our", "the app") helps sports academies manage students, attendance, fees, coaches and communication with parents. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: when an academy owner, coach or parent creates an account, we collect a name, mobile phone number and, for academies, academy details (name, city, address, logo).
- Student records entered by academies: academies may store student details in Sporvo, including name, phone numbers, parent name and phone, date of birth, gender, height and weight, photos, batch, attendance records, fee records and coach skill ratings.
- Admission enquiries: when a parent submits an academy's public admission form, we collect the student name, parent phone number, sport of interest and an optional message, which is shared with that academy.
- Device information: a push notification token, used only to deliver app notifications.
2. How we use information
- To provide the app's features: student management, attendance, fee tracking, receipts, announcements, performance tracking and parent access.
- To send service notifications (for example, attendance alerts and fee reminders).
- To verify identity via one-time passwords (OTP) sent by SMS or voice call.
- To process subscription payments for academy plans.
We do not sell personal information, show third-party advertising, or use personal information for marketing to parents or students.
3. Children's information
Student records are entered and controlled by the sports academy the student is enrolled with. Sporvo processes this information on the academy's behalf to provide the service. Parents or guardians who wish to review or remove their child's information should contact their academy, or contact us directly at the email below.
4. Service providers
- Supabase — secure cloud database, authentication and file storage.
- Razorpay — payment processing for academy subscription plans. Card/UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by Sporvo.
- 2Factor.in — delivery of OTP SMS/voice calls for login.
- Expo — delivery of push notifications.
5. Data storage and security
Data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit, role-based access rules and row-level security, so each academy can only access its own records, and parents can only access their own child's records.
6. Data retention and deletion
Data is retained while the academy's account remains active. Academies can deactivate or delete student records at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below; we will complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
